Lake of Echternach
During the summer months, you can swim in a part of Echternach's lake. You can reach the swimming area via the small island near the youth hostel, with several footbridges that make it easy to get in and out of the water. You can enjoy the sun on the sandy beach. Admission is free and possible daily between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.
The campsite is barrier-free, but you can only enter the water via ladders. Dogs are not allowed in the swimming and beach area, except for assistance dogs. Toilets and showers are available.
Please note: you swim at your own risk, as there is no lifeguard on duty.
