Echternach
The oldest town in the country as well as the historical and cultural centre of the Müllerthal region has preserved its medieval ambience: winding alleys, remains and towers of the old town wall as well as a market square with a Gothic town house take the visitor back to times gone by.
Around the approximately 30-hectare man-made lake, there are numerous leisure facilities: a large adventure playground for children, pedal boating, a bike park, trampolines (in summer), barbecue areas, ... The path around the lake invites you to go for a walk, inline skating or cycling.
