The colourfulness of the water and the rock, as well as the variety of moss species, are particularly impressive.
This wonderful place is best reached via the local hiking trail W7 (10.2 km) starting at Heringer Millen or via route 3 from the Mullerthal Trail. Before reaching the spring, hike over the 600m-long wooden footbridge, which also runs along the Black Ernz and crosses it several times.
